传媒新闻报道，四川大地震的重建工作已经展开超过一个月。在成都生活的新加坡社群，星期六筹办了一场慈善演唱会，为受灾孩童筹得200万人民币，合约40万新元。 名为"重建心灵家园 爱无限"的公益活动在绵竹市的汉旺镇举行。知名本地歌手阿杜、蔡淳佳、陈伟联、潘嘉丽、许美静等人希望通过歌声把温暖传递到每一名受灾者的心房。 除了献上爱心表演，艺人们还到德阳一个正在重建的灾区探访灾民。这群哥哥姐姐大包小包带了礼物派发给受灾小朋友。 9岁的受灾孩童李俊飞表示，“我本来有两个（书包）。有一个用到幼儿园的时候，给压到弄断了。我还有一个蓝毛的也坏了，现在还在用。不过我妈给我缝好了。还有一个地震的时候压在学校里了。” 本地歌手阿杜表示，“呼吁大家，就是帮助，还有就是多多地支持他们。” 本地歌手许美静也表示，“原本来这边是慰问大家、关心大家。可是来这边学习到很多。我觉得他们很有智慧、很坚强。” 今天这访问的目的是给孩子们带来欢乐，但获益最多的或许是艺人本身，因为他们亲眼看见了灾民的生活现状。
