On SQ direct flight to LAX. It was great though this time fly by economy. The service on flight was good. We are served with 2 meals and in between drinks, wine and other snacks. As we have to sit for 16 hours my legs were kinda cramp after sitting for 12 hours. I did wake up to go to toilet break and help move my legs but my neighbour hardly go for toilet break. I can see his face was quite black the 2nd time I ask him to let me go toilet. So I had to 'tahan' before I go for third. I cannot believe after taking so many drinks, wine and food he wont have the need to take a break. But I count throughout the whole flight he went for 2 breaks in 16 hours. While I went for 5 breaks. Make me inconvenient as in between he slept and I could not wake him I had to hop out of my window sit to go out to brush my teeth or wash my face. I did not sleep well only had like 4 hours sleep in between the 16 hours flight.

Now its 1.31 am PST I cannot sleep. Our flight arrive LAX an hour earlier at 4.30 pm. We finally reached John Wayne airport to collect our rental car which my boss has booked for 7 people. Too bad it seems that those available cars only US models has GPS. After 30 mins negotiating and checking finally my boss manage to get a brand new volvo station wagon but still its only 5 seater. We can have 6 people for short distance but not for > 30 mins drive as most of us are guys so the space not enough for 4 only for 3.5 people.

Tonight we finally checkin hotel at 7.30pm and then 8 pm we went to look for place for dinner. We decided upon eating at Roy which is a famous Hawaiian restaurant. Food served are mixture of Japanese, Chinese style. After ordered dessert, appetiser and main dish we realised that the price is quite steep for main dish but taste is really great. Especially the grilled lamb and seafood. We waited quite long for main dish to serve and then wait again for our dessert. At the end the manager apologized and make up by giving us free drinks. So our 5 order of liquor and wine drinks total about $60 are not charged to us. All of us are happy. But dinner over at 10.30pm after all the waiting all shops were closed :(

As we are all guilty of eating alot on-flight then had a fantastic dinner, 4 of us included my boss decided to go for gym after 1.5 hours rest in hotel. We each workout about an hour to burn off the extra we ate on flight and for dinner. Hopefully it helps :P

Tomorrow is the only day we have time to drive out to shop. My boss will be taking us to shop at factory outlet about 1-2 hours drive from Irvine. Last business trip I went south to Carlsbard Southern CA. This time we are going to another factory outlet in North CA.
