Movie review - Made of Honor and Speed Racer
Manage to catch 2 movies last week.

Speed Racer
I was not expecting anything special from this movie but it was very well done especially the special effects. Its like watching a cartoon with human staring in it. The racing was exciting and cool. I actually liked the lead actor after this movie. I don't know him before this but find his look is a mix of Leonardo and Edwan Mcgregor, a younger version. He was not that good looking but he is a good actor. Something different about this movie and I love the comedy flavour. One little complain though, I find it a bit too long.
For those who love comedy, comics and car racing will love this movie. I believe many who don't read comics or watch cartoon might find this movie is a bit lengthy and confusing esp the colorful and comical scenes.

Review:

Story : 4.0 stars (Something very different from what I watch before)

Entertainment : 4.0 stars (It was fun and touching especially the part
between the lead and his brother)

Acting : 4.0 stars (There are many good actors worth mention in movie. Besides lead Emile Hirsch who acted well, Christina Ricci, John Goodman, Susan Sarandon, the guy who acted as Rex, sorry I don't find RAIN was that good in the movie, anyway he is just a small supporting role as a baddie who did something good at the end. Not forgetting the baddie of the movie was very good)

Made of Honor
I actually looking forward to this movie because of the lead Patrick Dempsey though I never knew the lead actress. I read a review that was negative about this movie but decided to watch it and give my personal review. I agree with the reviewer about this movie. It was a disappointment.
I like the first half of the movie but not the second half. When story move on to Scotland it became so dull and boring and the acting is really stupid where Patrick Dempsey try to steal his woman from the Duke. I meant it was like rushing over to finish the movie and he behave like a silly guy. Total disappointment.

Review:
Story : 2.0 stars (pretty ordinary nothing new)
Entertainment : 2.5 stars (a few funny scenes but nothing much
worth remembering)
Acting : 2.5 stars (there is chemistry between the leads others not
worth mentioning)
