Recently I don't know why its so hype abt Xing Guang Bang. I understand about their 1st contest which I agree they have a few great singers but subsequently never bothered except looking at the GF results for their 2nd contest. But I never remember their names. Last year when I was in Taiwan in July, I manage to catch their Xing Guang 1 Grand Finals (repeat). There I watch the last 4 compete. But honestly on the singing department I am only attracted to Jam Hsiao and Yang Zhong Wei. I did download Yang's songs from china site to listen.

He is the 2nd singer than I was gan dong by singing after WL. If I compare them both have their way to gan dong audience and sang differently. This is my personal opinion : To me YZW sang in more 'ku' or in english 'sad' emotions. In comparison WL during competition sang songs which are sad in the lyrics and his voice sang in the tone that gan dong the audience. These days WL has improved his singing style and his voice is quite different from during the competition especially in cd. But if you listen live its still so nice and gan dong. But his voice is more clean and clear and less the 'ku' or sadness these days.

I listen YZW online for his latest cd. I don't know why do not really enjoy like it compared to listen to him sing famous songs like Pei Ban, Yue Tian and A-Mei's song (forgot title). For these songs he outsang the original singers. So I did not buy his 1st album. As for Jam Hsiao his voice is very powerful and he is only 20 when PK YZW so talented and he has this shy look. But again I do not follow their news. If I like I will buy cd but not interested to join their FC or get involved too much. Looking forward more to Jam's coming cd instead. For personality wise if YZW PK JH I give points to Jam instead haha. Let's see the cd who is better. Tomorrow night I shall see.

Almost forgot to talk about Yoga. Honestly Yoga is the one that I most dislike in Xing Guang 1 from the final 4 finalists when I catch on tv. Not only looks not impressive, his height and his emotional character who always cry cry and cry gave me the cry baby impression. And on his singing if he sing nicely and not trying to sing with some slang and make his voice purposely different and want to show he is different with this OVER method, I totally cannot stand it. Somehow when I see him sing I will switch to other channels. If I hear his voice over radio I will turn it off. I have nothing against him but he is just not the type with the voice I like or enjoy. Sorry to Yoga fans out there. I have nothing against the other top 3 though. Judy for instance is a very good dancer singing wise is average. But at least he has something different. Anyway recently Fang mei play Yoga's song on her blog and honestly that song is the one that made me most irritated. Each time I hear that my hair stands. I have to off the player when I go to her blog. (Hahaha).

Other famous singers that I dislike their voice or singing style :
1. Eason Chan (I just dunno why just cannot stand his voice but not as bad as Yoga)
2.Fantasia (AI3 winner) I am sorry to her fans out there she sings with a voice like a duck and she likes to scream her lungs out when sing even sing a normal song that does not require shouting. And she is the winner that I despise most as I wanted Jennifer Hudson to win. (HAHAHA)
3. SYZ (I only enjoy her singing english numbers. Cannot stand the method she use to sing chinese songs, so sorry but her's not as bad as Yoga and Eason)

IN SUMMARY,
I only enjoy listening to natural singers, meaning singers that are born with talent and having a natural voice. Those that are being trained with singing skills not born talent somehow I can tell from the way they sing and I do not like it. Usually I will like singers who sing naturally, sing with their hearts and does not try to act like someone or try to show off to others that they are excellent singers by turning and twisting their vocals and try be impressive. Sorry maybe I listen to music when I am a baby I can tell just by listening. Besides A-Mei, WL, Jam, YZW, Angela Chang, Carrie Underwood, recently I see this David A from the latest American idol top 10. He is another natural boy. Brooke White is another natural girl.
