Review of movie - The spiderwick chronicles
I really love watching chronicles movies. Have been eyeing this movie for sometime and read good review from newspapers and decided to catch it today after gym. The show for me never disappoint. It started with the divorced mother driving her 3 teenage children to an 80 years old house she inherited from her great aunt. Two of her sons were twins and oldest daughter. One of the twin was troubled by the sudden change and did not know that his dad left for another woman instead he blame it all on his mother. To avoid revealing too much of the story (leave it to you to watch), this kid learnt a great deal from the events that happen after they moved into the house where he found the BOOK left behind by his great uncle which no one is supposed to open and read it.

I was totally amused not by the storyline but by the special effects of this movie. The evil monster and toads were so real and scary. That little mouse like creature is also cute he can turn into something scary when he is angry and can only go back to norm by feeding him honey. This movie also touch on family, love and relationships. I was so touched by the ending and I actually felt the movie being alive and myself being a child enjoying such a wonderful fiction. There was excitement, adventure as well as love in this movie. A nice movie for family and children to enjoy. Suit people of all ages. I would like to praise the person who draw and created the little fairies. They looked so cute, lovely, colorful and alive. It was so lovely seeing them especially the scene where the 3 teenagers met with their aunt in the home where she was place as no one believed what she saw.

Acting : 5 stars (The twin boys for their wonderful acting)
