Today 7th Feb, 1st day of CNY. I have to cut the other items which mymother instructed me last night before dinner to prepare only on the actual day of cooking. Some dried pig skin (for soup) soakin diamond water, carrot cut in small squares, chinese cabbage and vegetables.
At 9 am my mum called 1st time from my brother's house to inform that she will be back later and that I should start to boil soup with chicken and pig bones for an hour and wait for her. At 9.30 am she called again checking if I get everything done and make sure I called my eldest sister to bring the chinese cabbage over. I called and my sister has not arrived at 10 am my mum called again that she will be backby 11am and ask me to start heating soup again as she be back later.By 11.15 am my mum is back with my brother's family.

My 2nd brother and his family arrive around 11 am brought along some traditionalfood like 'fried nian kao' and dessert tang yuan'. We had some while waiting for mymum to be back to cook. After my mother arrive she said since we have otherfood to eat she will cook a bit later. She asked me not to cook rice till later.While I was watching vcd she again screamed and called me ask where the chinesecabbage is as she only see some in a plastic bucket. I told her the restI have drop them in the soup after cut at 10.30 am.She started complaining why I drop chinese cabbage so soon. I should wait for her.

I am pretty fed up as in the first place I had help to prepare so many items,I did all as told. She did not instruct me to wait for her before drop thechinese cabbage. She told me to quickly get my sister to bring it over and I should prepare it. When I make chinese cabbage soup I will prefer it to bewell cooked. Anyway I do not to be interrupted again.I went to my room and told her not to disturb me again and locked the door. Let my eldest sisterand sister in laws help her.
Was mad with my mother on 1st day of CNY. I have received 3 angpows from my 2 sisterin laws and my eldest sister.

My mum has not given me angpow yet. Angry .......!
